Which treats are suitable for puppies?Updated 18 hours ago

Spoiling your new puppy with tasty treats is a great way to reward good behaviour and keep them happy. For training sessions, small and tasty rewards like cut-up Aussie Chicken Breast, Beef Lung Cubes, or Lamb Lung Crisps are perfect for motivating your pup.

If you’re looking to keep them busy or help with teething, long-lasting chews like Beef Bully Sticks or Aussie Pork Pizzle are ideal for satisfying their chewing instincts. Read more in our Jaws Score guide here.

Keep in mind that young tummies aren’t as experienced, so it’s important to go slow when introducing new treats. Start with one treat at a time, in small amounts, to ensure it agrees with their digestion. Avoid giving hard bones, as they’re not suitable for young puppies and can be too tough on their developing teeth and digestive system.

Always supervise your pup while they’re enjoying their treats to ensure they’re chewing safely.
